In the book, Fred and George have to get Harry's trunk out of the cupboard under the stairs, but in the film, the trunk is conveniently right next to Harry.
I remember this part of the book being seriously stressful and exciting, so it definitely would have been fun to watch the twins try to get his trunk out from the cupboard.
We never get to see the Weasley sons "de-gnome" the garden at the burrow.
This would have been so great.
In the film, Hermione fixes Harry's glasses with a spell in Diagon Alley, but in the book, Mr. Weasley repairs the glasses.
Hermione would never break wizarding rules by performing a spell as an underage wizard outside of school ground, duh!
In the film, Harry falls out of the flying Ford Anglia and hangs onto the door, but in the book, that never happens.
I guess they wanted more excitement.
As with the rest of the series, Peeves is nowhere to be seen… or heard.
